The power of a thank you...

I have just experienced something really nice - two strangers putting a smile on eachothers faces - in such an easy way... by one giving a honest compliment and then receiving one too. See "the story" on this site : A FAN FROM NORWAY before you keep on reading my blog.

I`ve always been thankful for my things and my life, but last summer, I got my eyes opened for the meaning of really THINK about what you are thankful for.. And that has a powerful affect on my life, on how I now feel, act and what happens when I do. So now its in my habbit to say thank you more often, ofcourse I say thank you to people when I get something, ( i am polite..) but now I really see for myself that I am more aware of my thankfulness/gratitude when people do or are somethink for and to me. I dont know if I explain this in a good way, but I`m trying :)

When I wrote Joyce Shelton, it was just spontanious! I was so happy to get my new workplace, so when I looked at my Picatso, all my good feelings for my art, my holidays in the states, my family, it all just popped up, and I seached her name online and found her blog - that I think is absolutly so sweet!
I didnt then know that she would appreaciate this so much, and it meant so much for me too, to see this - and as everybody else I need reminders of how you act with thoughts of others and thankfulness toward other people and what they do - its not a bad thing, its not scary or even stupid to let them know about you beeing thankful, liking/enjoying and beeing affected of something they did. It might just put a smile on your face.
